Mike Gravel is an idiot

I have watched Capital outsider the other day.  On this show there was an interview with Mike Gravel.  I must say I was rather disappointed with Mike’s performance.  Senator Gravel was asked a question about the non-aggression axiom.  Mike turned the question around, and seemed to be unaware of this libertarian viewpoint.

I don’t think Mike Gravel is an idiot because he had a view contrary to the non-aggression axiom.  I think Mike Gravel is an idiot because he seemed to be unaware of some members of his new party’s viewpoint.  He’s seeking the libertarian party’s nomination, but he has no idea what the libertarian party stands for.  I also consider the way he spoke to be rude towards his competitors.  His late entry into this race, and his tacit view that he would sweep through to get the nomination crazy.

I consider Mike’s continued pursuit of the presidency to serve only one purpose, to feed his ego.  Mike, welcome to the libertarian party, come look around, keep an open mind, and you might learn something.  Don’t expect for everyone to love you though.
