Terrorist of the week: Stephen Monier

George W. Bush nominated Stephen Monier as United States Marshal on April 15th, 2002. He was confirmed by the United States Senate on May 7th, 2002. Now he is becoming very disruptive of ordinary people's lives.

On June 6th the United States Martial "Service" ordered a plane carrying an Associated Press photographer out of the airspace around Ed Brown's home. There have been reports that neighbors were requested to leave their houses. There is also a report that a man walking a dog was shot at, tasered, and detained. Monier said these actions were carried out because a warrant was being served.

Monier and his superiors and subordinates have launched a reign of terror on the American people. They are actively trying to terrorize people who do not paying a extensive tribute. The orders against an Associated Press photographer suggest that Martial's motivations are less than admirable.

Monier is considered armed and dangerous. The Boston Globe presents the case that Monier is delusional. Monier has been quoted as saying "Periodically we need to take a gander." Another quote: "We needed to know where he was. We needed to know where his supporters were." This Suggests that Monier imagines a need to escalate the situation. He also was quoted as saying "We have no wish to have a violent encounter with either one of them." This statement suggest that he was not aware of the violent confrontation with dog walker Danny Riley, or is deliberately misleading.
